Also note that the J10 Qashqai + 2 has the aircooled (Vented) disc which is wider than the non aircooled J10 5 seater. I just got caught out on this with mine. So the disc in this video has what looks like 2 discs glued to each other where as the 5 seater is a single disc.

Yes I think I might have done all the cleaning of the disc and components before final assembly.
That is why you use brake cleaner to finish it off before mounting the wheel

What is the point of the video then?
@@eamonrafferty701I was wondering that myself.
If you think about it, as people are so belligerent and mean, if they didn't say that, someone will f up and sue.
So according to Google you can't have a combination of brake shoes and brake pads on the same wheel but in this video it has both?
The shoes are the handbrake mechanism that uses the inside of the disc brake. They aren't used for braking just purely for the handbrake.
What's that brown spice call?
This is a copper grease in a spray, you can find it here via link:

*Please be Aware!! Nissan advises against silicon grease on guide pins. They recommend red rubber grease!!*

Press mute. Problem solved.
Stick to selling parts, not making tutorials, so many mistakes made it's hard to believe.
